The length of each partition, the height of each cabinet and the depth of each wardrobe should be reached out, which can greatly improve the space utilization rate and have a reasonable moving line path. The final effect should be very consistent with the owner's personality and habits. It is furniture to adapt to people's life.

Instead of the other way round, everyone is bored to adapt to these standardized assembly line custom furniture.

1、 Select suitable suppliers and designers

There is a relatively simple way to screen suppliers, which is to look at their customized furniture software.

Try to choose suppliers who can produce 3D rendering renderings, so that you can see whether the colors and materials you choose are really as beautiful as you think after they are used in a large area.

For example, the larger manufacturers basically use Yuanfang software (the software company later made customized furniture, which is the famous Shangpin home furnishing), and the effect drawing is basically the real scene drawing:

A slightly worse manufacturer may use the software with general rendering effect such as sketch master, but at least it can see how many drawers, doors and general color numbers are.

If you encounter a company with only black-and-white two-dimensional sketches, you must choose carefully. The reasons are as follows:

My experience: customization must produce renderings! It's not a simple black-and-white drawing. It's a rendering with the color you choose! I chose a beige cabinet in my bedroom, which is very terrible after a large area! It's completely different from what you think!

There is also a simple way for designers to distinguish between good and bad: before a good designer goes to your house to measure the size, he will first spend two or three hours talking with you about how old your baby is, whether your storage space is enough, etc. to understand the living habits and housing needs of your family members.

If he starts to measure the size with the engineer without saying a word as soon as he enters the door, and if you put forward any opinions, he says "yes, no problem, it's very beautiful!" then he can only ask for more blessings from himself.

2、 Gain insight into your needs

In general, the designers of customized furniture manufacturers are not as professional as you think. Some of them are... Novices.

As Yo Yo Ma "Ding Ding" said, the better designer for customized furniture is yourself. It is a positive solution to deeply understand your own needs and then actively feed back the data to the designer.

Know your shoulder width, leg length and height

General designers, if you don't ask, they will directly extract the model from the product library and change several sizes at will. This is why the depth of my friends' wardrobe is 600mm, because this is the standard size of wardrobe depth.

I calculated that for the sliding door, your shoulder width + 10cm should be a more suitable customized wardrobe depth. Too narrow, clothes can't be stuffed in, too deep, a waste of space.

cupboard

The default standard height of the kitchen console is 83cm, which is determined by the average height in China, but you have customized the whole house. You must have a console of your own height.

Here is a formula, which can be calculated as follows:

H = height / 2 + 5 ~ 10cm

There is also a small detail here, that is, there are actually four short feet under the cabinet:

Generally, the default size of this skirting line is 5cm deep and 8cm high.

If your feet are very large, you can appropriately adjust them to 7cm deep and 9cm high, but it is not recommended to make them too high, otherwise it will affect the storage space of the floor cabinet.

Generally, if you don't ask, the standard height of the desk in the designer's model library is 74cm.

But everyone's height is different, and different people have different requirements for tables. Do you usually use it to read or draw pictures? Is it used for engineering drawing or watercolor painting? Do you prefer standing, sitting or half lying?

Different needs correspond to different table heights, so you must figure out what this table will do in the future.

I know that you usually use it to play computers, chase dramas / play games / shoot license plates, so here is an easy-to-use method for measuring the height of sitting desk (refer to the answer to "oxygen".

Find a comfortable stool to sit on at ordinary times. Open your legs the same width as your shoulders, bend your knees 90 degrees, stick your elbows and big arms to your body, and bend your forearms 90 degrees horizontally. The height between your elbow joints and the ground is the height suitable for your desktop:

Know your habit of folding clothes

Most wardrobes have too much hanging storage space and too few shelves or drawers.

You should take a look at your habit of folding clothes. Usually you like to hang your clothes, fold them, or... Put them in a ball.

If the storage habit of shirts is to fold them neatly, you should make more narrow partitions in your wardrobe to facilitate storage:

Count the number of your clothes and shoes

Before customizing the wardrobe and shoe cabinet, you must first do a big project to know what kind of internal layout you need.

Take out all your clothes and count how many coats, trousers and long clothes you will have; also take out your shoes and count the number of short boots and long boots.

The clothes you need to hang up determine the length and height of your clothes hanger.

The height of the clothes pole has an average value. The height of the standard coat is 1m, the height of the standard windbreaker is 1.4m and the height of the standard pants pole is 1.2m. However, if your leg length is 1.8m, remember to relax the height of the pants hanging pole and the partition board.

There is a calculation formula for the length of the clothes pole, that is, the number of clothes to be hung x0.4cm (this value is variable, depending on the normal gap width you are used to hanging clothes). The obtained value is the total length of the clothes pole suitable for you.

The size of the shoe cabinet is the same. Generally speaking, the reserved width of each pair of shoes should be 30cm first. The specific height of each layer of shoe cabinet depends on the height of your shoes.

How many books do you have in your family

If you have few books, you can buy a bookstand to meet the demand. Don't spend money on customizing the empty bookcase.

If you have many books, it's better to be like the clothes and shoes mentioned above. See how many books you have and the height and width of the works of art you want to put on the shelf.

For example, if this average bookshelf is unreasonable from the perspective of space use, it wastes a lot of space to put small books in a large grid.

A well-designed bookcase should be customized on demand. The location of each book, painting and art work is reserved in advance, realizing greater space utilization.

Remember here that if the wood shaving board is used as the bookcase, the plate with a thickness of more than 25mm shall be used, and the length shall not exceed 60cm, otherwise it will be bent.

3、 Know some reasonable and practical designs

Here are some more design ideas that I personally think are more reasonable and used. You can have a look.

As mentioned above, if the drawing produced by the cabinet manufacturer you are looking for is a two-dimensional black-and-white sketch, it happens that there is a corner in the wardrobe. If you don't pay attention, it's easy to make it like this:

The corner is OK in terms of the quality of the wardrobe itself, but the utilization rate of the blocked space inside will become smaller.

A good corner wardrobe should be a check mark and smoothly transition to the opposite wardrobe.

If the budget is higher, you can make a spiral hanger to make it easier to take clothes.

The wardrobe and shoe cabinet are made into movable partitions

In general, the partition boards of customized wardrobe and shoe cabinet are fixed, because more punching will be more labor-consuming.

Therefore, it is better to coordinate with the manufacturer and drill a hole every 3cm on the board. With the increase of things at home, it is more convenient to move the position of the partition:

The bed can be made into a locker

If you have a lot of quilts or other sundries in your home, you can consider making the bed into a storage cabinet, and lifting it can put sundries such as quilts, which is particularly easy to use.

4、 Pay attention to the contract and later installation

Don't think you can get a perfect whole house customization by doing your own demand design. Like air conditioning, customized furniture depends on design and installation.

For example, ten houses are nine inclined, and the perpendicularity of your wall is generally not strictly 90 degrees. For example, in Yo Yo Ma's house, the wall is inclined, and then the gap is filled with glass glue.

During the decoration, we found Shangpin house with customized cabinets and cabinets. During the preliminary measurement, the designer did not consider that the wall of the cabinet was a little inclined. During the later installation, there was an inclined seam on the right side of the cabinet, from large to small, with a width of nearly 1cm. After that, we can only take glass glue to fill the seam!

In fact, for the back plate gap caused by the poor perpendicularity of the house and the inclination of the wall, a good decoration master will help you set an additional board. Then, according to the gap angle of your home, cut the board into a wedge shape on site, insert it into the gap, and then nail the back plate of the cabinet to this board with nails, so that it can be seamlessly connected with the wall of your home.

A master who is more demanding on himself will make this board look like a Roman column or affix an edge seal. He can hardly see that it is a seam.

In the later stage of installation, some people will encounter that the drawers are not aligned.

The gap between the flush cabinet doors is too large

In fact, these are determined by the level and care of the installation master. There is a better solution for this later installation service problem, which is provided by Yo Yo Ma's "middle school sophomore".

One of the few secrets is that you must have a good relationship with the designer of the measuring ruler. You must be present on the day of installation and pack the meals of the masters. Listen to me, you must be right! Spend a little money and make a lot of money.
